Jane The Capricorn (Very True leh ... haha...)

A cool and quiet woman. Once she is mad she can be very fierce.

In her opinion, woman is not just a flower or decoration at home or at an office.

She likes to control and hide her weak emotions. She will never try to change anyone, but she will learn to accept them as they are. If she does not like someone, she will not comments or criticize but she will completely ignore that person.

She hate plastic and an artificial flower because it make her feel that you are not being sincere. She loves real flower and it's scent. She loves a guy who wear after shave cologne. If you are a type of a guy who wear your Jean one month before washing, or wear an old sneaker, then you can forget about her.

She loves music and nature even there is a rare case otherwise. She loves to go picnic in nature, so if you don't have so much time for her, you can take her fishing too.

She is not as jealous as Aquarius or Leo woman, but do not cross the line O.K. Better not to see she gets mad, especially in front of public when she feels like loosing face.

She has her own goal in life and does not care if you have a doctorate degree or not, if she thinks you are not bright then she will not care about you at all. She likes smart people by character not by certificate shown.

She does not like a dreamer who talk about his dream but never put his hands in action to make it happens. Don't bother to tell her "everyone is doing it, you should do it too", or "I think you should do it, it's good for you", because she will do what she wants to do only.

She is a cool type and will not nag, so easy on your ears. She is a slow but sure type. She will always respect and honor you and will never try to make you loose your face. If she loves you, she will help you in anything you do.

She likes to help people and expect nothing in return. If she asks you for a favor and does not get one, she will feel very disappoint. She has a high hope and a high faith and beliefs in her own confident than believing in "Luck".

"The Baker's Apprentice" by Judith R. Hendricks

Finished reading this book last Friday, it writes about the personal and love life of a female baker Wyn Morrison who is one of the shareholder at Seattle's Queen Street Bakery.

From what i know, this is actually a continuation of Hendrick's first novel 'Bread Alone'. Maybe I will check for availability at the library.

In this book, Wyn is satisfied with the direction in her bakery life and anticipating new relationship with Mac, a struggling writer who seems quite conservative about his past life. Even when they grow closer physically, the self-defiant nature of Mac cause Wyn to developed an emotional distance when he refuses to share his personal information about his life and past. To complicate matters, Wyn's divorce from her husband
is facing obstacles and isn't getting wrapped up as she hopes. Her romance with Mac comes to an edge and to soothe the strain, he decided to head of to Alaska to 'figure things out'.

When love life of Wyn keeps hitting roadblock, she finds comfort in her bread baking session at the bakery. Yet managing the bakery is another problem - cash flow. To cut cost, they decided to hire a baking apprentice and an angry young woman, Tyler is chosen. Wyn's blunt, straightforward and caretaking attitude draws Tyler to look upon her as her mentor.

Due to replacement of landlord and rental dispute,
Seattle's Queen Street Bakery finally had to wind up. Although sad but the ending for Wyn and Mac had been a reunion one.

Hendrick's true-to-life characters let readers get intimately acquainted with. The author's ability to convey how the characters are feeling is affective. It is definitely an enjoyment read for me.

Brother's 21st Birthday

Its been four years since my 21st birthday and my memories of it is very vague now. Hmm... how i celebrate it? Guess is just like another everyday routine.

Kexin (bro's gf) decides to throw a surprise party for Yonghui (my bro) last Saturday (actual date is 16 July Mon) and my family joins in the preparation as well. My brother is a real muddle-head, he is totally ignorant of the event even when he saw my mum and I were busy with the food! Haha...maybe he is too tired from his camp training.

Yes, Yonghui has no idea of the celebration until he reaches Par Sir Ris park accompanied by his friend. Notice the decoration? They were put up by Kexin and their friends. I am really grateful for their effort and glad that my brother has got such a supportive and excellent group of friends.

Asparagus wrapped with bacon is superb for BBQ. Never fails...

Wishing moments for the birthday boy...

Everyone Pose!

Performing Arts

Sometimes i wish i were a drama student, i don't know how to describe it. Guess it is the team spirits and joy while acting out the roles in the play that attracts me. Moreover, not many individuals have the chance to venture on multiple roles in their life. FYI, i am not a drama/movie guru but just like to share some of my views.

Live drama on stage and TV drama/movie can be different in some ways such that acting on stage usually requires exaggeration of body language and expressions in order to catch the audience attentions and since no NGs are spared during live stage performing, their masterpiece should really be greatly appreciated and admired!

On the other hand, advanced technology have privileged TV drama/movie to produced perfect scenes for optimal expression for the play script. uh mm... If i were to translate a play into the food point of view, team members are the ingredients, scriptwriter is the recipe, backstage crew are the utensils, actors/actresses brings out the characteristics of the dish and the chef would be none other than the director! Haha... no obligation though. Nevertheless, the taste and flavors mark the success of the dish.

I always believe every play reflects real life accounts, maybe not mine or yours but definitely there is a take. My admiration to the crews and please enjoy this authentic and funny Singaporean clip below.

Blogger Troubleshooting

So now my blog problem is solved and i can continue my posting again. Think the problem been persisted for about a week.

When i was trying to view it on Tuesday it shows an error telling me that "This Blog is under review due to possible Blogger Terms of Service violations and is open to authors only". Initially I was shock and keep recalling back if I did violate any copyright laws or spam contents. But thanks goodness it is just some of the bug in the blogger spam robot system.

In case any unfortunate victims out there shares the same problem as me, these are the steps for reference:
Login a/c --> Click 'Customize' --> Click 'Home' to arrive at Dashboard--> Click on 'contact support team' --> Wait for reply

Troubleshoot it yesterday and now my blog is back to normal. So it seems that the support team is quite efficient though.
